Dylan Candleana was acquired by the Stamp midway through last season in a trade with the Roc-City Royals. Last season Candleana played in twenty games for the Stampede and was a big part of our program both on and off the ice.
This season the Stamp will look to Candleana and his veteran status with the club to be a solid part of the team and count on him to bring depth to the program. Last season Candleana suffered a shoulder injury that continued to hamper his productivity on the ice at times but has undergone reconstructive surgery in the off season and has been cleared and will be at what he says is 110 %. “I think that having Candy healthy will be huge for us this season as his physical play will create space for him and his line-mates for sure.” States Coach Mike Beavis. “He is a great kid and the guys love having him be a part of the room for sure!” added Beavis
The Stampede will continue to re introduce returning players as well as introduce new additions to the team for 2018-2019 over the next several days. Training camp will begin for the Stampede Tuesday September 4th and run through the 8th.
