The first place Binghamton Senators roll into Oswego this weekend for three games at”The Fort” The 16-1 Senators will look to increase their lead in the Northeast division while the Stamp will look to regain possession of second place. Oswego at 5-8-1-1 is currently one point out of second in the Northeast after two disappointing 3-1 losses on the road in New England last weekend VS the NE Stars of the Coastal division. “We have not played up to our capability as of the last few games”. States head coach Mike Beavis. “Plain and simple penalties, composure and discipline have lead to some very big blown opportunities”. Added Beavis
The Stampede have struggled with taking what the coaching staff called “game killing penalties” over the past few weeks and have not been able to get a handle on it as of yet. “We worked on some psychological aspects of the game as a team and individuals this week and hopefully the mindset of the guys will carry over from this point.” States Assistant Coach Travis Hyde.
The Stamp will host the first place Sens for three games this weekend at “The Fort” in Oswego, NY. The match-up will prove to be very interesting as the teams needed overtime to declare a winner two weeks ago in Oswego in a very exciting and well played contest. All eyes in the league will be on this weekends games with the NA3HL as Binghamton once again looks like the team to beat. “We have a game plan which we will certainly execute this week against the Sens and the key will be if we can stick to the systems and keep our composure.” added Beavis
The two teams will face-off Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 1:00 at “The Fort” Don’t miss all the action as your home team makes a move on the division lead in what could be the most important match-up of the season.
