Snyder Returns to Stampede for 2018-2019

Forward Nick Snyder has returned to the Stampede for the 2018-2019 season. Snyder, the 18 year old that resides in Clay, NY. played in a handful of games for the team late last season was tendered by the team for 2018-2019. “Nick is a good young player that should get some attention this season and could potentially be a part of the Top Prospect team come February”. Sates Head Coach Mike Beavis. Snyder has played in all six games early on for the team and has one goal and 2 assists and is currently a plus one. “Nick will see time on special teams this year as we develop him to help him hopefully move onto the tier 2 level for next season”. added Beavis.

The NAHL & NA3HL recently rolled out a new program to help build a true ladder of development between the NA3HL and NAHL players. This season NA3HL players will be allowed to practice with NAHL teams. Take a look at some of the details below:

As part of the enhanced initiatives all 24 NAHL teams will engage and work in cooperation with NA3HL teams for increased access to players, including allowing NA3HL players to practice with NAHL teams during the 2018-19 season. NA3HL players not only get the valuable experience of practicing with NAHL teams, but will also benefit from the following incentives:

• No trade restrictions between NAHL and NA3HL teams.
• Opportunity to be added as one of two players on NAHL rosters on February 10th deadline for the remainder of the season.
• USA Hockey-Certified coaches, officials, and a Department of Player Safety that makes for the safest environment to develop as a Tier III player.
• NAHL Central Scouting is solely dedicated to finding NA3HL hockey players, evaluating them in a true unbiased manner and then organizing and providing that information to NAHL teams. No other junior league in the United States has a system like it, where its primary mission is the advancement of players.
• Implementation of a tender and draft system to help get NA3HL players opportunity to advance.
• Exclusive partnerships with equipment partners Bauer and Vaughn.
• Daily news and player recognition on NA3HL social media outlets, videos, and,
• Unparalleled exposure league-wide events like the NA3HL Showcase in December, the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament in February and the Fraser Cup Championship in late March.

The Stampede will be back at work this week preparing for this weekends home-stand VS The Maine Wild. The teams will face-off Saturday at 7:30 PM at “The Fort” in Oswego and again on Sunday at 1:00PM.
