The Stampede have two of last seasons captains ready to return for the 2018-2019 season. Defenseman Rich Hart and Forward Tommy Kilway will head up this seasons squad for Head Coach Mike Beavis. “Richie and Tommy did a great job for us last season and proved themselves within the NA3HL. I feel that with the team we have assembled to date we will definitely be a division contender this season.” States Beavis
Both Hart and Kilway are entering their last season of junior hockey and both have some serious interest from college teams and are looking for an early season commitment to secure their schooling for the following season.
Hart a native of Liverpool, NY. has played in 138 games for the Stampede over three seasons and is eager to get this season underway. While Killway reins from Tallmadge, OH. and will enter his second season with the team. “Both Tommy and Richie are big kids that play a solid game. They will both be key guys to this seasons success.” added Beavis.
The Stampede will begin to introduce you to their players both returning and new additions over the next few weeks and are excited about the talent level they have brought on board. The Stampede have a good amount of returners as well as some very good young talent that have signed in the off season and feel that this seasons team will be one of the divisions top competitors. The team begins training camp on Tuesday September 4th at “The Fort” in Oswego.

The Stampede is also still looking for a few Billet families in the Oswego area for one to two more players that will be arriving in late August. All Billet families are given two season tickets for all home games as well as a monthly stipend to cover living expenses.
