The Oswego Stampede are proud to announce that forward Josh Watterson will be attending Stevenson University this fall. Watterson, the 19 year old from Sinking Spring, PA. Played in 58 games for the Stampede over the past two seasons. “Josh came to us from the Central Penn Panthers of the former NA3AHL and we would like to give the Panthers credit for Josh’s success as well”. States Stampede Head Coach Mike Beavis. “Josh is a great kid that will do well in school and will help Stevenson’s program as he is a very good two way forward that spent lots of time on the PK for us.” added Beavis
The Stampede would like to wish Josh all the best in the future and congratulate him on his college commitment.
Over the next few weeks we will be announcing other college commitments from the 2017-2018 season as well as to begin to introduce you to the Stampede’s newest additions and feature our returning players as well. The Stampede will open up with a 3 day mini camp on August 27th then kick off training camp at “The Fort” on Tuesday September 4th for the 2018-2019 season. The NA3HL full season schedule will be released in the upcoming days and will be available on na3hl.com as well as on the Stampede home page. “We are very excited about our team this season and feel that our relationship with the City of Oswego will bloom into a great partnership with the city, it’s staff and the community.” states Beavis
